Stay in the Journey-Time of Reflection

We are approaching the end of 2011, whew, time is going fast. However, do not let time pass without taking time to reflect on your life. Take time to think about are you going in the direction God wants you to go. Take time to live life on purpose. As you make goals and plans, take time to be intentional about your goal setting and the action steps to take to get to the desired end/results. If you realize that you have not been on course, do not condemn yourself, just be honest with yourself and God and then go forward in the right direction. As we journey through life there will be ups and downs, peaks and valleys. Do not get discouraged in the down and valley season, instead decide today that you will no longer let your past mistakes dictate your future. Decide today that you will evaluate your life and make the necessary changes so that you can go in a forward direction. You cannot change your past, but you can change your future. Remember, to be patient with yourself during the process. Remember, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God does not want to harm you. He has a future for you so take time as you go through the course of your days to stand still, listen to God for direction and clarity. He wants to be your GPS navigation system and give you step by step directions. I am not sure where you are in your journey, but know that God has away to say with His GPS , “Recalculating” You may be in a rerouting stage, its okay. That is not a bad thing. Keep taking one step at a time and before you know you will be amazed at how far you come. This is not your end, it is the beginning of the even greater things God has in store for you.
